Why The Bible?
God gave us the Bible to communicate his love for us and protect us from harm. Before I became a Christian I agreed with every side of an argument. When I read the Word of God I discovered the truth and it set me free. For the first time I had an opinion based not on what the world around me said to be true but what came from the mouth of God. I saw righteousness revealed through His law. I finally had a moral compass to live by.

What sets the Bible apart from all other religious books is the claim to be the very Word of God, divinely inspired, and all sufficient in every matter. The prophets and apostles boldly proclaimed from the beginning of the Bible to the end that the words they spoke were from God. 2Timothy 3:17 says, "The Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work
."

All sixty-six books of the Bible remain one unified book without contradiction and is the divine origin of the words which the Holy Spirit of God prompted forty authors from different walks of life to write.
The Bible was written over a period of 1500 years, on three continents and in three languages.

The Bible contains hundreds of detailed prophecies that have been fulfilled relating to the future of individual nations, cities, and mankind. Other prophecies deal with the coming of the Messiah, the
Savior of all who would believe in Him. Over three hundred prophecies have been fulfilled concerning Jesus Christ about where He would be born, His lineage,  how He would die and rise from the dead.

The powerful Word of God, along with the power of the Holy Spirit living in those who believe, has transformed the lives of drug addicts, homosexuals,
hardened criminals, and sinners through the centuries.

The fact that the Bible accurately records historical events is a great indication of its truthfulness.
The men who wrote the New Testament and hundreds of other believers who
spent time with Jesus Christ after He had risen from the dead were transformed and empowered. They went from hiding in fear to willing to die to spread the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. Their lives and deaths testified to the life changing power of God’s Word.

The Bible remains just as relevant today as 3500 years ago when the first five books were written. It is a book that has transformed countless lives and cultures throughout the last 2000 years. No matter how d
ictators in many countries have tried to destroy the Bible it lives on demonstrating the divine protection of God's living Word.

No one can stop people from reading or stop people from meeting to study God's Word. People are willing to die for their faith in Jesus and for owning a Bible when death is a consequence. Persecution happens all over the world today for no other religion but Christianity.

A spiritual battle is at work as the enemy, the Devil himself, has attempted over thousands of years to keep us from the One true God. Jesus is victorious! He conquered death. Put your hope and trust in Him and He will reveal himself to you through the powerful Word of God, the Bible, God's love letter to you.

God's Word to Live By:
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Revelation 3:20
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.

2Timothy 3:17
The Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every
good work.

Mark 13:31
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
